What is in the healthcare bill for you?

Some changes go in to effect this year but the major changes will not be until 2014. Small business can receive some tax benefits this year and you should contact us or your CPA to get the benefits to apply for. For individual policies you will begin to see 40 to 60% rate increases in 2011 because of the mandates put on insurance companies to cover all children no matter what and no life time limits. Some states can set up exchanges (goverments pools) now but will not be mandated until 2014. We have a pool in Arkansas now and have had it for several years. It is called Comprehensive Health Insurance Program. You must be a resident of Arkansas and not insurable under the current policies abailable on the market today.
