NEA Baptist Welcomes New Radiology Specialist

Dr. Ezekiel (Zeke) Shotts is originally from Paragould, Arkansas and recently moved back to Northeast Arkansas to practice at NEA Baptist in Jonesboro. Dr. Shotts is a radiologist that also specializes in image-guided procedures to help alleviate pain and treat various conditions.


Zeke Shotts, MD, received a bachelor of science in biology with a minor in chemistry from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR. He then went on to obtain his doctor of medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. Upon graduation, he moved to Rochester, MN to participate in the Diagnostic Radiology Program at Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education (Mayo Clinic). He received advanced training from world experts at May Clinic, specializing in a fellowship for Musculoskeletal Imaging.

Dr. Shotts brings a new service line to NEA Baptist – a Musculoskeletal Procedure Clinic. Through this clinic and advanced technology at NEA Baptist, he provides diagnostic and therapeutic image-guided musculoskeletal procedures resulting in pain relief and improved quality of life. The clinic treats various conditions such as tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, trigger finger, plantar fasciitis, pain in the joints and much more. This specialized clinic requires a referral from a family medicine physician or other specialist. As a radiologist, he is also involved with both standard and musculoskeletal-specific imaging services at NEA Baptist.

Dr. Shotts is a member of the American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America and International Spine Intervention Society. He recently moved to Jonesboro with his wife and three children.
