Lieblong Named 2015 ACHE Regent’s Early Career Award Recipient at Hospital Association Annual Meeting
Oct 13, 2015

John Lieblong, vice president of physician services at St. Bernards Healthcare, has been recognized as recipient of the 2015 American College of Healthcare Executives Regent’s Early Career Award.

The award was presented at the Arkansas Hospital Association annual meeting in Little Rock Thursday and recognizes an ACHE member who has contributed significantly toward the advancement of healthcare management excellence and the achievement of the goals of ACHE.

A native of Paragould, Lieblong joined the St. Bernards leadership team in 2013 after serving as chief executive officer and administrator of Associated Radiologists in Jonesboro for a number of years. At St. Bernards he is responsible for the medical practice component of the hospital/medical practice integrated delivery system. That includes overall strategic planning, acquisition development, negotiations, operations and policies. He works with about 120 physicians in more than 20 different clinics associated with St. Bernards.

“John has a keen understanding of what it takes to make the business end of healthcare profitable while at the same time meeting changing needs and expectations of patients,” says Chris Barber, president and chief executive officer of St. Bernards. “We are pleased that the Arkansas

ACHE affiliate has recognized his outstanding performance. He is an important part of the leadership team at St. Bernards.”

Lieblong’s finance background has included working in banking with Simmons First Bank and Edward Jones/Smith Barney as well as founding and serving as managing partner of Lieblong Private Wealth Group.

He has been involved in a variety of local organizations, including the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Arkansas State University Red Wolf Club and has given back to the community as a volunteer youth league coach with baseball, basketball and volleyball teams.

He and his wife, Kasey, have three young children, and they are active members of Valley View Church of Christ, where Lieblong serves as a deacon.
