In addition to our usual workshops we have a new seminar on Website Strategy & Planning coming up Tuesday, September 7th 1-4 pm at the ASU Delta Center. Our speakers, Christi & Joe Wharton explore strategies, techniques, technologies and best practices needed to make their websites an effective marketing tool. In today's changing internet marketing environment small businesses must know how to integrate their websites to meet these changes especially integrating social media sites and blogs.
We will also offer an Advanced Facebook Marketing for Businesses, to be taught by Abbi Siler, owner of Local2Social a Social Media Marketing Consulting business. This workshop will be held Thursday, September 9th 1-4 pm at the ASU Technical Center.
Ms. Siler will also be our instructor on Tuesday, September 14th for Twitter for Business Marketing. An experienced Twitter user, Ms. Siler will introduce attendees to Twitter the micro blogging social media network platform, why it will work for businesses, how to set up a Twitter page and more. The workshop will be 1-4 pm at the ASU Delta Center for Economic Development on the ASU campus.
In addition to these three new seminars the ASU SBTDC will offer a Four night Introduction to QuickBooks Series starting Tuesday, September 7th from 6-9 pm at the ASU Technical Center in Jonesboro.
