ASU Small Business and Technology Development Center to hold marketing seminar Sept. 14

The  Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) at Arkansas State University will hold a special seminar on social media marketing for small businesses at the ASU Delta Center for Economic Development ,Tuesday, September 14 from 1-4 p.m., Room 110, ASU Delta Center for Economic Development building on the ASU campus, 319 University Loop West.
"Twitter for Business" seminar will be led by Abbi Siler, Social Media Marketing Consultant with Local2Social. With social media booming for business owners, Twitter is yet another social media platform that small businesses can use to promote themselves.  
In this seminar, attendees will learn how to create a Twitter account for a business, discuss how to make a twitter page stand out and make a professional first impression.  Basic Twitter etiquette will also be discussed and how to engage community and clients using this platform. 
Those planning to attend the seminar should bring a laptop computer. Registration is $40 per attendee, $30 for Jonesboro Chamber and Downtown Jonesboro Association members and $20 for ASU faculty, staff and students.
