Mar 14, 2014

The Out of the Dark Board of Directors is proud to announce that Mr. Kevin Richardson has been appointed as the 2014 Chairperson for the Craighead Out of the Dark Coalition. Mr. Richardson is a lifelong resident of Craighead County and he is the CEO/President of PCS On Call, a professional communications service located in Jonesboro.

Mr. Richardson has served on the Board for several years and he has been instrumental in building the Out of the Dark Student Chapter program in Craighead County, which now involves over 1,000 kids from our communities. We look forward to working with Mr. Richardson in his capacity as Chairperson and we feel confident that his leadership will take the CODC to a new level of accomplishment for our families and businesses in Craighead County, Arkansas.

The Board wishes to thank Mr. Johnny Terrell for his services as the outgoing CODC Chairperson and for his leadership and dedication in serving all of the communities in Craighead County, Arkansas. Mr. Terrell rejoined the Board effective March 1, 2014.

The CODC is the Craighead County standing committee for Out of the Dark Inc. and its mission is to establish and strengthen collaboration among service-providing agencies, businesses, faith-based organizations, civic groups, government agencies, and members of the community interested in preventing and reducing chemical addiction among youth and their families in Craighead County, Arkansas.

The CODC is made up of various sector committees (local level up) that meet formally as a collective group every three (3) months to discuss how each of the committees can stop the growth of drug addiction and the collateral damage it is causing in their communities.
