Apr 03, 2014

Street Corner Symphony: Dynamic A Cappella Group as part of Arkansas State University's Fowler Center 2013-14 Riceland Distinguished Performance Series.

An a appella sensation based out of Nashville, Tennessee, they became internationally
known in 2010 after being runners-up on Season 2 of NBC’s all vocal

southern gents win over audiences with their unique laid back, yet dynamic

Lister, and Richie Lister, along with Adam Chance, John Martin, and Mark
McLemore. Five out of six members were raised the sons of ministers. Since
their success on The Sing-Off, Street
Corner Symphony has been making records, performing for audiences around the
country and working with major artists including Ben Folds, Alison Krauss, and
Take 6's Claude McKnight. Their music covers a wide range of styles, from
gospel and barbershop to rock and pop, appealing to young and old alike.

“Truly a talented bunch of guys, from strong tenor vocals to rich bass sound and truly
mesmerizing vocal percussion. They performed in many different genres.
Entertaining night from beginning to end! Just wish it could have gone on
longer.”
