Congratulations to Jep! He's a finalist in Jonesboro Occasions 2015 Cutest Pet Photo Contest, and he's counting on your votes to win!

Owner Abbeigh Rainwater says, "Meet Jep the cat! He is a 10 month old orange tabby with one heck of a diva attitude. Ruffle his hair, and he will groom himself for the rest of the night! He loves to eat all day long, swing his fat pouches around when he runs and snuggle up to me right when my alarm goes off! Please vote him Jonesboro's cutest pet!"

A big thank you to everyone who submitted a photo to our annual Cutest Pet Photo Contest. We had a record 325 entries, so it was very difficult to narrow down the submissions. After careful consideration, we decided on these top 20 local pets; from here on, it’s up to you!

IMPORTANT VOTING INSTRUCTIONS: Each of the 20 photos will have its own post on Jonesboro.com. On the bottom of each pet photo post, there is a place to rate it between one and five stars. The winner will be determined by the highest average star score. Voting ends at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 23. The winners will be published in the August issue of Occasions.
