 Bennett’s Flowers and Gifts DELIVER BOUQUETS AND CHEER AS PART OF 16th ANNUAL MAKE SOMEONE SMILE® WEEK JULY 17 – 23, 2016 Jul 14, 2016 Bennett’s Flowers and Gifts announced today that it will join thousands of Teleflora local member florists across the country for Make Someone Smile® Week, the floral industry’s most popular, successful and heartwarming initiative of the year. The program runs from July 17 through July 23 and is a joint venture led by local Teleflora member florists who volunteer their time to create and deliver the widely popular Be Happy® Bouquets to those most in need of a smile - such as hospital patients, senior citizens living in nursing homes and assisted living homes, and recipients of meals through Meals-on-Wheels programs. Teleflora donates the keepsake Be Happy® Mugs to participating florists.
The joyful floral arrangements created in the Be Happy® Mugs feature bright yellow and/or white daisies, and some mugs will have a variety of sweet treats. Bennett’s Flowers and Gifts will secure the flowers and treats. Bennett’s Flowers and Gifts will distribute their Be Happy® Bouquets and treats, to local organizations including St Bernards’ Village, Rosehaven Villa, St. Elizabeth’s, Morningside, and Fire Stations 1-7. Over 300 Be Happy® Mugs will be distributed.
