SynTel LLC Taps Andrea Scott to Expand Brand into New Markets and Promotes Jeremiah James to Manage Operations
Nov 30, 2010
JONESBORO, ARK., Sept. 8, 2010 – A growing customer base and expansion into new markets has led SynTel™ LLC., a provider of mailroom automation software and document design software, to enhance its leadership team.  Andrea Scott joined the company to manage all of SynTel’s marketing initiatives.  The company also promoted Jeremiah James from assistant vice president and project manager to senior vice president and manager of Operations.

As marketing coordinator, Scott is responsible for the management and execution of SynTel’s branding, corporate communications and customer outreach. She joins the company after nine years as director of Athletic Marketing for Arkansas State University (ASU), where she spearheaded the planning, research and promotions of the university’s athletic programs and events.

“While much of our success has been in the financial services industry, mailrooms in companies across the nation and all verticals can benefit from automation and document design software to new markets,” said Harry Herget, co-founder and director of Marketing for SynTel. “Andrea brings the experience needed to expand our brand from the financial institutions we have traditionally served to other markets, such as insurance companies and utilities that send large volumes of customer notices by mail.”

James will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, including sales, business development and customer service.  James previously served as the company’s manager of Special Projects.

Herget added, “Jeremiah has proven his leadership and skill in his work as a product manager, guiding and shaping our growth into new products as services. We are proud of his growth and excited to put the management of operations into his hands.”

SynTel’s mail optimization solution, AutoMail, reduces postage expense by up to 25 percent through bar-coding, presorting, calculating weight and postage and eliminating the need for postage meters. SynTel also offers MailStream Manager to enhance the design of customer communications and improve the workflow, both by mail and electronically. SynTel’s Tax Notice Solution provides an outsourcing method of meeting IRS tax notification requirements.
