For most people, the thought of an As-Seen-on-TV gadget actually working seems far-fetched, but for the next four weeks, the staffers at Jonesboro Occasions have decided to set their skepticism aside.  

In light of the magazine’s "New Year, New You" January issue, they will be testing out four As-Seen-on-TV fitness gadgets for the next month. Will the Shake Weight, the Neckline Slimmer, the Thigh Toner or the Belly Burner actually work? Check back soon for weekly updates on whether or not the gadgets are living up to the hype behind their infomercials.
