Sissy’s Log Cabin recently announced plans to open a location in Jonesboro on the corner of Stadium and Parkwood, and the Jonesboro Occasions and Jonesboro.com crew was there yesterday for the official groundbreaking. The well-known store is set to open its doors in the spring of 2012

The new Sissy’s location will be 5400 sq. ft. and will includes an exterior log cabin décor to resemble the original Sissy’s location in Pine Bluff and the second location in Little Rock. The new Jonesboro store will carry the same unique lines of diamonds, gemstones and designer lines that the store is known for, including Rolex. It will be staffed by Sissy’s award-winning jewelers and professional sales associates, including Sissy Jones and Bill Jones. Mark Sanders will move from the Pine Bluff store to manage the Jonesboro location.
