The 3rd Arkansas Prescription Drug Take Back Program starts tomorrow (Saturday October 29th). Close to 6 ½ tons, estimated to be between 17 to 19 million pills, were collected during the past two (2) take backs. Pain medicine and prescriptions collected in take backs will never be misused, contribute to the growth of chemical addiction, used in a crime, cause an overdose, cause a traffic accident, or contribute to the pollution of Arkansas waterways. To participate, drive by the Jonesboro Police Department and use the City's new outside pharmaceutical Drug Disposal Drop Off Unit that has been provided for you by Out of the Dark, Inc., Rotary Club of Jonesboro, Area Technical Center and the City of Jonesboro.
