Each of the candidates will have equal time to speak to the ODC with a short rebuttal opportunity followed by Q&A session. Other matters on the ODC agenda will include sub-committee sector reports to the community.

The ODC meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 11:30 am -1:00 pm at Mid-South Health Systems at 2707 Browns Lane, Jonesboro, Arkansas. The meetings are free and open to the public. Those that would like to attend the meeting should RSVP by July 28th to outofthedark.org@gmail.com  or sign up at our  OD Coalition page at www.outofthedark.org

The ODC is a partner of Out of the Dark Inc. and its mission is to establish and strengthen collaboration among service-providing agencies, businesses, faith-based organizations, civic groups, government agencies, and members of the community interested in preventing and reducing chemical addiction among youth and their families in Craighead County, Arkansas.

Out of the Dark Inc. is a not for profit grass roots community organization that was established in the fall of 2008 to identify and address chemical addiction issues from a local perspective. The organization has developed the “Local Level Up” community model that is now considered the “gold standard” by many across the state for networking the sectors of a community and to provide a local united front to identify chemical addiction issues and to address them through local “demand reduction” action plans. Out of the Dark Inc. is based out of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
