I started Sweet Escape Cakery, LLC after hobby baking for the past several years. My passion for caking began in 2008 when I decided to tackle my son's 1st birthday cake. I was elbow deep in frosting and fondant and loved every minute of it. I have learned many wonderful new techniques since then and love to create delicious treats. I was beyond ecstatic to learn that Arkansas passed the Cottage Food Act this year. Thanks to this Act, I was able to open my home-based cake studio and take my hobby to a different level!

In addition to creating cake art and baking, I also work at ASU-Jonesboro for the wonderful Upward Bound program and attend graduate school part-time.
