Arkansas State University Choir Camp 2013 

Sing Louder Critter

ASU Choir Camp is an amazing experience for those who enjoy singing. Camp is open to singers entering 7th grade in Fall 2013 through 2013 High School graduates. From June 23 - June 27, each camper will participate in three choirs: Mixed Choir, Male or Female Choir and Show Choir or Senior High Chamber Choir. Senior High campers will have the chance to audition for Chamber Choir during camp. The cost of attendance is $310 for on-campus campers and $195 for commuter (off-campus) campers. Individual vocal lessons are available for $60. Group piano and guitar lessons are also available during camp. Camp is lead by a trained and experienced staff of ASU faculty and students as well as Junior and Senior High choral directors from around Arkansas. Camp activities take place in the evenings and are made available to all campers.

 

  • Application and $75.00 deposit is due by May 24, 2013.  Payment of balance and refundable $75 key deposit is due on or before the first day of camp, June 23.

Camp Eligibility

Senior High Camp: 
Any High School student entering 10th grade through 2013 graduates.

Junior High Camp: 
Any Junior High student who will be in 7th,  8th and 9th grades in Fall 2013.

DISCOUNTS--$15 off for early registration and deposit (received by May 1); $50 off for 2012 Junior High and High School All-Region Choir members; $40 additional off for 2013 All-State Choir members.

On - Campus Needs!

  • Bedding (Twin Bed) 
  • Toiletries
  • Appropriate Rehearsal Clothing (You will be asked to change if deemed necessary) 
  • Blue Jeans for Final Concert  
  • Activities Clothing (Camp Dance, movie night, talent show, recreation in the RED WOLF CENTER)
  •  Extracurricular activities include: dance, movie, talent show, recreation in the Red Wolf Center, and a final concert on the last day of camp.
  • Housing will be in University dormitories, meals will be in the Student Union Acansa Dining Hall.
  • Registration is on Sunday, June 24, from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Cashier's Window on the second floor of the Student Union.
