ASU Children's Theatre presents "The Garden of Rikki Tikki Tavi"

The 24th season of children’s theatre at A-State will open with "The Garden of Rikki Tikki Tavi" by Y York, adapted from the story by Rudyard Kipling. The publisher's synopsis says "A comic adaptation of the Kipling classic in which nobody dies! Darzee, the diva, is incensed when Rikki Tikki Tavi washes up in her pristine garden. Darzee and her friend, Chuchu, attempt to run off the pesky mongoose until they see Nag the cobra, run in fear from the new mongoose on the loose."
Performance dates are Wednesday, June 21, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Thursday, June 22, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; and Friday, June 23, at 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. This production of "The Garden of Rikki Tikki Tavi" is sponsored by The Golden Grotto and the A-State College of Business online MBA program.
"The Garden of Rikki Tikki Tavi" will be produced by A-State Theatre students under the direction of Tim Bohn, department chair and associate professor of theatre.
