ASU - Jonesboro: ASU SBTDC to offer "Trade Show Marketing" seminar March 17
JONESBORO -- The Arkansas State University Small Business and Technology
Development Center (SBTDC), Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce and
Downtown Jonesboro Association will be hosting a workshop on "Trade Show
Marketing," Thursday, March 17, in Room 110 at the Delta Center for Economic
Development, 319 University Loop West on the ASU campus.
The seminar, which runs from 1-4 p.m., will provide helpful material which
coincides with the April 7 Jonesboro Chamber Business Expo.
Conducted by Ken Abernathy of Big Hats Consulting, the seminar will help
attendees learn to create or improve existing trade show marketing efforts.
"Trade show marketing is often overlooked as an effective tool to reach
target customers." said Herb Lawrence, director of the SBTDC. "This workshop
provides helpful tips, tools and techniques that will allow attendees create
an effective, professional trade show look that stands out from other exhibitors."
Registration is $35 per attendee ($25 for Jonesboro Regional Chamber and
Downtown Jonesboro Association members, $20 for ASU faculty, staff or students).
Registration is $15 for businesses who have registered with the Chamber of
Commerce for a booth at the coming EXPO.
