A Burns Night Dinner: A formal to semi-formal celebration of the life and poetry of Robert Burns, author of man Scots poems including "Auld Lang Syne," which is generally sung as a folk song.
The Jonesboro based "Northeast Arkansas Caledonian Pipes and Drums" present their version of this traditional event with a meal, music and merriment as a fundraiser for the band.
Location: First Presbyterian Church, Southwest Drive
Cost: $20 adult and $10 children under 12
