Fine Arts Center Recital Hall

Golnaz Khazei and Bahareh Moghtadei, one-third of the popular Iranian Ensemble Rozaneh, will perform classical Persian and Folklore music on authentic Kurdish instruments. The duo will also sing texts from classical poems and prayers used in both the Persian and Kurdish cultures. Included in the concert will be performances on the tar, considered to be the mother of all instruments in Iran, the 72-string santur (think hammered dulcimer), and the daf and tombak percussion instruments. Don't miss this unique opportunity to hear some of the world's most stunningly beautiful music!
