For thousands of years, man has created waterfowl decoys to entice birds into range for harvest. That tradition is still carried on today with a more modern day approach. Decoys today are made of hard plastic or foam instead of the reeds used by Native Americans many years ago.
Help us carry on that tradition by coming to the Forrest L. Wood Crowley’s Ridge Nature Center and painting your very own duck decoy!
All materials will be provided at no charge. Ages 7 and up.
There is no fee for this program thanks to your support of the 1/8 Cent Conservation Sales Tax.
