Heart & Sole, Going the Distance, will be held Oct. 1 at 201 E. Oak Ave. The half-marathon and half-marathon relay will begin at 8 a.m., the 5K run-walk at 9 a.m. and corporate walk at 9:30 a.m. 

The course will feature themed miles, USATF certification, ChampionChip timing, full course support and is a qualifier for the New York City Marathon 3:30 1/2 marathon pace. 

Brunch for all participants and live music to follow.
