Hope Week
From: Sep 26th, 2010 @ 8:00 am To: Oct 2nd, 2010 @ 10:00 pm | < Previous Page |
Hope Week is a time to celebrate the importance of hope in each of our lives and in our churches, organizations, businesses and community.
The goal of Hope Week is for our community to come together and highlight hope during this week. Start planning now how your organization will participate. The ways to celebrate and spread hope are as varied as the groups and individuals involved.
Here are some ideas to help salute and spread hope:
- collect items and/or money for a local charity
- bake treats for patients
- create a Wall of Hope by selling Hope Dandelions
- read to a classroom
- volunteer for a non-profit
- knit or crochet items for nursing home residents
- participate in the ShareHope Walk of Remembrance and Hope
