ASU SBTDC To Offer Introduction to QuickBooks for Small Business

Is your accounting system earning its keep?  If not sign up for our 4 night, hands-on Introduction to QuickBooks workshop.  Starting Tuesday, October 16th through Thursday, October 25th, Linda Harvey with Jones & Company and Sherri Hensley with Computer Tutor will show small business owners how to put QuickBooks Accounting Software to work providing real time reliable financial information.

Each night our instructors will cover a specific area:

 

  • Session I Setting up a new company,, Chart of Accounts, writing checks and bank reconciliation - Tuesday, October 16th,
  • Session II & III Details issues with inventory, adjusting & reporting inventory, invoicing, accounts payable and receivables - Thursday, October 18th and Tuesday, October 23rd,
  • Session IV Payroll - Thursday, October 25th.
Each session is designed to be a stand-alone, but attendees are encouraged to plan to attend all four evenings to get the most out of the series.  Participants should be comfortable operating a personal computer in a Windows environment.
Seating limited to 15 attendees.
Registration is $75 per session OR $225 for all four nights (a $75 savings), Jonesboro Chamber, Downtown Jonesboro Association members, ASU faculty, staff and students pay $165 for all four nights.
