Michelle Murray is scheduled to appear in Jonesboro AR on Monday, June 24, 9 am
to noon. She will perform an acoustic music set and hold a meet & greet
with clients, staff and visitors at Presidential Conversions, Inc., 2500
Commerce Dr. Bldg. A Ste B.
Michelle Murray's performance
is part of the “My Finish Line” music & movie tour, sharing through her
music the story of former IndyCar driver Sam Schmidt, paralyzed after a racing
accident in 2000. He went on to create the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation,
which works to find a cure for paralysis, and is co-owner of IndyCar team
Schmidt Peterson Motorsports. The country music singer became a
spokesperson for the foundation after hearing Schmidt's story, and wrote a song
about Schmidt titled "It Won't Be If, But When".
The performance is free and a number of attendees at the
event will receive a free copy of "My Finish Line", the film that
tells Schmidt's story through Murray's music.
