Egyptian-American human rights activist and author Nonie Darwishwill present a lecture in the third event of Arkansas State University’s2011-2012 Lecture-Concert Series. Darwish will lecture on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. in ASU’s Carl R. Reng Student Union's Centennial Hall. This presentation is funded by the generous support of a local anonymous donor and the Young America’s Foundation. This lecture (like all events in the Lecture-Concert Series) is free, and the public is invited. Nonie Darwish is the author of "Cruel and Unusual Punishment; the terrifying global implications of Islamic law, a sociological analyses of the impact of Sharia Islamic Law". She also authored the book "Now They Call Me Infidel" which was published in 2006.
