Northeast Arkansas Sound the Alarm Mega Blitz

As part of a nationwide campaign, the American Red Cross has committed to reduce the number of fire deaths by 25% over a five year period ending in 2020. Over 1,000,000 FREE alarms have been installed nationwide and nearly 500 documented lives have been saved. Last year the American Red Cross serving NE Arkansas installed 1364 alarms during the Mega Blitz. This year we would like to meet our 1000 goal and hopefully surpass last year's success.
On Friday evening, April 20th the Kickoff will be held at St. Bernards Auditorium in Jonesboro. Team captains, team members, sponsors and Red Cross volunteers will gather for of fun, dinner and to hear from a guest speaker on the importance of the Sound the Alarm event. Captains will leave with all materials needed to perform installations the next morning, Saturday, April 21st.
