Peer Network meets the 1st Thursday of every month from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at UAMS Center on Aging, located at 303 East Matthews in Jonesboro.

The Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation’s (APCF) Peer Network is a safe and confidential environment to talk freely about the different things you experience as you progress through the phases of survivorship* — diagnosis, treatment and recovery. If you are newly diagnosed, our network of survivors may help you sort out your concerns, ask questions of your health care team and understand your treatment plan. Our Peer Network can help you find and evaluate resources, encourage you to maintain healthy behaviors and offer you ways of dealing with challenging situations. You can communicate your concerns, questions, knowledge and experience and gain valuable insight from other survivors*. You may even find yourself laughing at humor that only fellow survivors would appreciate!

If the meeting setting isn’t for you, consider a one-on-one, confidential conversation with a Survivor-Mentor.

A Survivor-Mentor is available by calling 1-800-338-1383.
