“Shower of Hearts” Heart Ball to help raise funds for heart disease education and research

JONESBORO, Ark. –On April 1, 2011 area supporters are invited to the Jonesboro American Heart Association Heart Ball to help raise funds for education and research to help build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The event will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn at 7:00 pm.Heart disease and stroke are the number one and number three killers of Americans claiming over 870,000 American lives and over 79 million Americans have some sort of cardiovascular disease.

This year’s Jonesboro Heart Ball has been coordinated entirely by a committee of dedicated volunteers, led by Co-Chairs Brandi Adams, Marsha Carwell and Kelli Register. It is a black tie optional event that will feature a live and silent auction; recognition of our honorees; dinner and dancing. This year’s Heart Child is Teagan Hesch, daughter of Marty and Karen Hesch and this year’s Gala honoree is Ted Herget.This year’s Heart Guild members are: Kelli Register, Brandi Adams, Jill Bristow, Cindy Modelevsky, Emily Gairhan, Sarah Strobbe, Marsha Carwell, Lori Tyson, Lindsey Woodard, Audrey Hanes, Andrea Carlisle, Megan Melsheimer, Jeri Jo Winters, Lai Ferrell, Jessica Bruce, Jennifer Longmire, Farrah Myrick, Jessica Reed, Jenny Beth McKelroy, Brittany McKelroy, Diane Kueter, Lisa Burton, Christie Redden, Lindsey Tedder, and Christy McKeel. Craig Rickert will be this Dance music will be provided by D. J. Ryan Eagle, and Brett Strobbe will be our auctioneer.
