The 2015 Triple Swing, a weekend-long fundraiser for the St. Bernards Foundation, will include a dinner dance and two different golf classics.

Activities of the three-day-long event will begin on Saturday, June 27, with a vintage circus themed casual dinner dance at 6 p.m. at St. Bernards Auditorium.  Entertainment will be provided by Memphis Soul Review.

Those purchasing tickets for the fun evening will be eligible for a variety of giveaways and will have opportunity to make purchases at both live and silent auctions. Tickets can be purchased individually for $75 or a table of eight for $525.

This year, for the first time, people will be able to use online mobile bidding for silent and live auction items, with the online bidding for the silent auction continuing on Saturday night.

On Sunday, June 28, a VIP Golf  Classic will be held at RidgePointe Country Club exclusively for platinum, gold and silver sponsors of Triple Swing. Celebrity at the Sunday four player scramble will be PGA Tour professional Todd Hamilton, British Open Champion in 2004 at Royal Troon. Tournament includes cart fees, tee gift, commemorative team photo, on-course refreshments and prizes for the first-, second- and third-place teams.

The Monday, June 29, Golf Classic also will feature a four player scramble format, with choice of either morning or afternoon flight. Tournament participation includes green and cart fees, tee gift, commemorative team photo, breakfast and lunch as well as on-course refreshments and snacks. Prizes will be awarded for first- through third-place teams, and all players will be eligible for a golf ball drop. Cost of participation is $1,700 per team.

Proceeds from Triple Swing will go toward filling an urgent need in the area – the creation of a special “Memory Care Community” at the new St. Bernards Villa. The Villa will include both Assisted Living Level II housing and a special memory care unit with care plans incorporating the newest concepts in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Residents will benefit from programs tailored to meet their specific needs.

The event is sponsored by St. Bernards Advocates, a group of community leaders dedicated to supporting the mission of St. Bernards through fundraising, education and healthcare programs that involve the community.

Gary Childers is serving as this year’s Triple Swing chairman.
