The Nutcracker Ballet

The Nutcracker Ballet will be performed at The Forum Theater in Jonesboro on December 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th starting at 7 pm Friday, Saturday and Monday, and 2 pm on Sunday. This Foundation of Arts annual event boasts 114 cast members from the community and surrounding areas, with over 100 of the cast members who are currently training in ballet. Ticket prices start at $6.
The traditional ballet will follow the fictional character of Clara as her family hosts a Christmas party. Her Godfather, Drosselmier gives her a gift of a Nutcracker in the shape of a prince, and she falls asleep and dreams of the people, toys, and experiences she had during her family’s party.
This event is a beautiful way to experience the tradition of the holiday season with friends and family.
