NEA Baptist Clinic now offering electrophysiology (EP) services
Sep 30, 2014
NEA Baptist Clinic is now offering electrophysiology (EP) services to patients – including consults and procedures. Dr. Jiang Cui and Dr. David Lan of Stern Cardiology in Memphis, TN, will be working with NEA Baptist Clinic Cardiology to offer these services. EP is a subspeciality of cardiology concerned with cardiac rhythms. Both physicians have extensive training and practice experience in the treatment of patients with cardiac arrhythmias. Many patients require complex or restricted medication regimens. Cardiac rhythm ablation is often required for many arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation. This has been a great advance in cardiac care in the last few years. This comprehensive arrhythmia care is now offered at NEA Baptist with Dr. Cui and Dr. Lan. Jiang Cui, MD, FACC, is presently a member of the Stern Cardiovascular Foundation with Baptist Medical Group – a network of more than 550 specialized physicians located in West Tennessee, Northeast East Arkansas and North Mississippi, associated with Baptist Memorial Health Care in Memphis. He completed his fellowships in both Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular Disease at Baystate Medical Center at Tufts University in Springfield, MA. He is board certified in Cardiology, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Cui will see patients with atrial aflutter, SVT, and atrial fibrillation. David Lan, MD, FACC, also a member of Stern Cardiovascular Foundation and Baptist Medical Group, completed fellowships in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL. He is board certified in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. NEA Baptist Clinic is the largest and most comprehensive physician-led and professionally managed multi-specialty group practice in the region. NEA Baptist Clinic is made up of over 100 physicians providing care in 35 medical specialties. The mission of NEA Baptist Clinic is to provide comprehensive, personalized, quality healthcare for patients throughout the Northeast Arkansas region.
