NEA Baptist opens 4th Physical Therapy Location

Jonesboro, Ark., October 29, 2014 –– NEA Baptist Clinic recently announced a fourth outpatient physical therapy (PT) location – located at the new NEA Baptist medical campus, 4800 E. Johnson Ave, Jonesboro, Ark.

NEA Baptist Clinic Physical Therapy makes it convenient for patients to access therapy services with two Jonesboro locations and locations in Paragould and Trumann. 

Previously with NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital, physical therapists Ivan Spangler and Ken Miller will be joining the NEA Baptist Clinic team at the NEA Baptist medical campus location.  Additionally, occupational therapist, Cindy Norman, will provide occupational therapy from this location.

Physical therapists are trained medical professionals who evaluate and treat limitations and/or disabilities consisting of: neck pain, back pain, joint pain (shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles and feet), balance disorders, muscle pain, and pain in the arm or leg associated with nerve entrapment.

Rehabilitation strategies often involve specific exercises to stretch and strengthen muscles as well as to improve posture, balance and endurance. Physical modalities including heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation are also incorporated into treatment sessions.

‘We are excited to be able to expand our outpatient physical therapy services to the NEA Baptist medical campus,” said Darrell King, chief executive officer of NEA Baptist Clinic, “The location inside our hospital will be convenient for our patients who live in the area near our campus.”

Other NEA Baptist Clinic Physical Therapy locations include 1007 Windover, Jonesboro, 4700 W. Kingshighway, Paragould, and 305 W. Main St, Trumann.
