Congratulations to Binx! She's a finalist in Jonesboro Occasions 2015 Cutest Pet Photo Contest, and she's counting on your votes to win!

Her owner, Karen Newberry says, "This is our sweet Binx cat. I found her in the corner of a client's chicken coup barely able to sit upright. After some meds and tlc she has grown into a beautiful cat. She enjoys ear scratches, telling the dogs that no, they can't sit there, and bringing home presents like still warm voles."

A big thank you to everyone who submitted a photo to our annual  Cutest Pet Photo Contest. We had a record 325 entries, so it was very difficult to narrow down the submissions. After careful consideration, we decided on these top 20 local pets; from here on, it’s up to you!

IMPORTANT VOTING INSTRUCTIONS: Each of the 20 photos will have its own post on Jonesboro.com. On the bottom of each pet photo post, there is a place to rate it between one and five stars. The winner will be determined by the highest average star score. Voting ends at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 23. The winners will be published in the August issue of Occasions.
