"Hi, my name is Josey the Corgi, and I am 8 months old. I am from Jonesboro and live with my mom Neeley Ray. My favorite pastimes include: chewing mom's new cowhide couch, wooden blinds and carpet. I also enjoy chasing butterflies, lawn mowers and vacuum cleaners. I love Pupcakes from Bliss Cupcakes, digging up worms in the yard, daily trips to the barn to see my horses and going to rodeos with my mom! As you can see, I always have a smile on my face and would love to be Jonesboro Occasions next top dog! Vote Josey the Corgi!"
A big thank you to everyone who submitted a photo to our annual Cutest Pet Photo Contest. We had a record 325 entries, so it was very difficult to narrow down the submissions. After careful consideration, we decided on these top 20 local pets; from here on, it’s up to you!
IMPORTANT VOTING INSTRUCTIONS: Each of the 20 photos will have its own post on Jonesboro.com. On the bottom of each pet photo post, there is a place to rate it between one and five stars. The winner will be determined by the highest average star score. Voting ends at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 23. The winners will be published in the August issue of Occasions.
