Congratulations to Lefty LaRue, a finalist in Jonesboro Occasions 2015 Cutest Pet Photo Contest. Lefty LaRue's counting on your votes to win!

"I'm Lefty LaRue, an almost 3 year old Boston terrier from Jonesboro. My humans are Ezra and Alaina Rodgers, and I have a Boston terrier brother named Pancho. My primary goal in life is to be the center of attention. To achieve this, I give lots of face kisses and post photos of myself on Instagram. My favorite game is tug, and I love going for car rides. Every morning I try to steal a drink of my ma's coffee, because coffee is delicious."

A big thank you to everyone who submitted a photo to our annual Cutest Pet Photo Contest. We had a record 325 entries, so it was very difficult to narrow down the submissions. After careful consideration, we decided on these top 20 local pets; from here on, it’s up to you!

IMPORTANT VOTING INSTRUCTIONS: Each of the 20 photos will have its own post on Jonesboro.com. On the bottom of each pet photo post, there is a place to rate it between one and five stars. The winner will be determined by the highest average star score. Voting ends at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 23. The winners will be published in the August issue of Occasions.
