The ASU Small Business and Technology Development Center has just released it June 2010 small business workshop calendar.  In all 7 workshops for entrepreneurs and small businesses will be held in Northeast and North Central Arkansas.  A wide variety of topics including social media marketing, Advertising & Promotion, Starting a Business, and Introduction to Quickbooks will be offered.

In addition to its usual workshops the Center is offering a FREE 3 hour panel workshop on Advertising & Promotion Thursday, May 10th at the ASU Delta Center for Economic Development building on the ASU campus.  Local media professionals from KAIT TV, KAIT Internet, the Jonesboro SUN, Master Print Group, Jonesboro Radio Group, SuddenLinke and Lamar Outdoor Advertisin will explain how their media assist small businesses marketing efforts and how to chose the right channels to reach target customer groups.  There will also be a informal networking session after the workshop.
