Parking Permits Available Online July 6
Jul 01, 2010

Students, faculty, and staff will be able to order 2010-11 student (SD), faculty/staff (FS), and staff/employee (SE) parking permits online beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6. The website for online permit orders is accessible through the new My Campus web portal.

After logging on to My Campus, eligible students and employees may select the Astate Parking icon which opens the online Parking Services customer account. Selecting the Order Parking Permit link will initiate the online permit ordering process. Follow the instructions on each screen until the ordering process is complete. Watch the Jing video demonstrating the process for ordering a parking permit online (http://www.screencast.com/users/astatetreed/folders/Jing/media/b8a784ec-b09d-4d62-bbd0-1128079596b9).

Parking permits ordered online will be mailed from the manufacturer in Fort Smith to the Postal Service address selected by the customer during the ordering process. The permits are valid for use immediately upon receipt. Customers are not required to stop by the Parking Services office unless validation stickers are needed for contract parking or campus residence parking. Motorcycle permits and other specialty permits are not available online and will need to be picked up at the Parking Services office.

The 2010-11 parking permits feature a new design and are repositionable stickers that are affixed to the inside of the vehicle windshield and should be placed in the lower left corner (driver's side) of the windshield. The stickers are not permanently attached and may be moved from vehicle to vehicle just like the former hangtag permits. The permits will arrive with an illustration of how and where they should be placed on the inside of the windshield. No advance payment is required to order a parking permit online.

The permit fee will be billed to the corresponding ASU customer account upon completion of the order. There are no increases in the permit fees.  Faculty/staff (FS) permits are $70, staff/employee (SE) permits are $50, and student (SD) permits are $50. All customers may pay their parking fees at the cashier's windows in the Student Union or online through Banner Self-Service. Eligible employees may also establish a payroll deduction agreement with Human Resources.

Payroll deduction forms are available online (http://www2.astate.edu/a/finance-admin/hr/benefits/parking.dot).  Contact Parking Services at ext. 2945 for more information.
