As a result of Arkansas State University's self-report to the NCAA identifying unintentional errors made with respect to calculating progress toward degree, ASU has received a formal notice of inquiry from the NCAA. The notice of inquiry regards potential violations involving ineligible competition of student-athletes due to failure to meet percentage of degree requirements and a potential academic fraud violation.

ASU has cooperated fully with the NCAA as it has conducted its investigation and will continue to assist with the inquiry.

The investigation is an ongoing, cooperative effort with the NCAA. As such, pursuant to NCAA Bylaws, individuals associated with the institution will maintain the confidentiality of the investigation and may not discuss the case.
