USPS Certifies five as Mailpiece Design Professionals

JONESBORO, AR:  Five employees in the technical services area are certified by the United States Postal Service as Mailpiece Design Professionals (MDP). “The certification helps our group better serve our customers” says Bryan Barnes Technical Services Manager for SynTel, LLC. Support began to prepare for the MDP certification and tested in the fall. Bryan Barnes, Ryan Johns, Jason Crossno, Chris Travis and Brent Martin all completed the course and received their certification in November.


The Mail Piece Design Professional certification is recognized by the mailing industry as a sign of skill and competence in postal rules and regulations on mail piece specifications. Karen Moss Administrative Assistant for SynTel and Evonne McMinn also hold the MDP certification. “Working for SynTel challenges us daily to stay up-to-date with ever changing rules and regulations by the USPS, says Evonne McMinn, Installation Coordinator and USPS Certified Executive Mail Center Manager (EMCM).”
