 JHS, GCT to face off in tonight's Border Bowl
Simmons First Bank of Northeast Arkansas will host the 2013 Simmons First Border Bowl tonight between the Greene County Tech Eagles and the Jonesboro High School Hurricane. The match-up will begin at 7 p.m. at Arkansas State University’s Liberty Bank Stadium. It will be the fourth year the two teams have played for the Border Bowl title and it will also kickoff the 2013 season of high school football in Northeast Arkansas. Pre-sale game tickets can be purchased at both high schools and all Simmons First Bank locations in Jonesboro and Paragould. Tickets are $5 each. Simmons First, the primary event sponsor, has been a part of the Jonesboro community for more than 29 years and has locations in Jonesboro, Weiner and Paragould.
